Intellectual Property Primer for Entrepreneurs
Tuesday, April 8
6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
Presented by Northwest NJ Score
Intellectual Property (IP) not only includes patents for inventions, trademarks, industrial designs and geographical indications; it also includes the words we read, the images we see, the videos we watch, and the music we listen to.
Any entrepreneur seeking to start a company or invest in one must realize the importance and necessity of IP. A company's IP is often their most valuable asset.
The seminar is designed to give business owners (or potential owners) an understanding of their rights and the importance of protecting their IP. This interactive presentation will cover Patents, Trademarks, Copyrights and Trade Secrets.
In this session we'll discuss:
* Legal requirements
* IP process and costs
* Infringement and enforcement
* International considerations
Seminar will be led by:
