Welcome to the Parsippany Area! Did you know that “tourism” is the state’s third largest industry- an industry that is such an important part of the overall economy? Tourism employs many people throughout our state and contributes in meaningful ways to the arts and historical preservation communities. Your Parsippany Area Chamber of Commerce is part of this important industry and continues to represent the businesses, residents, and volunteers throughout northern New Jersey since 1956. We are proud to announce that since we established the Parsippany Area Visitor Center we have grown in services and affiliations. Our new partnership with the Skylands of NJ Tourism Council, characterized by the State as an official representative of the Skylands region of northwestern New Jersey will provide our Chamber members and residents with more options for weekend getaways and day trips. Working closely with beautiful Morris County, the Parsippany Area Visitor Center is now an Affiliate Office of the Morris County Visitors Center. With these newly created partnerships, we are looking forward to working with New Jersey’s tourism industry and in providing more services and options to the communities that we serve!

The Township of Parsippany-Troy Hills is the home of the Parsippany Area Chamber of Commerce’s headquarters and we are happy to recognize the Township of Parsippany-Troy Hills for ranking #17 in the USA and #1 in New Jersey on Money Magazine’s “Best Places to Live” as well as its designation as Tree City USA for the 31st year! Your Parsippany Area Chamber of Commerce continues to support the grass-roots efforts of the Parsippany Area and is in touch with the pulse of our communities. The Chamber knows the qualities that most Americans want when it comes to a place to live and to raise a family-the opportunity for themselves and their children to prosper-and a quality of life that lets them enjoy the fruits of their work.

In supporting the quality of life issues that are important to all of our remarkable neighborhoods, we have stepped-up our efforts in the areas of economic development and shared services. As the official economic revitalization stimulus of the Township of Parsippany-Troy Hills, we have become more involved with local and county governments as well as the Parsippany-Troy Hills Township School District. One of our primary goals in our initiatives is to help businesses already located in the Parsippany Area remain here, while at the same time attract stores to fill our vacant retail and office spaces. We are achieving these goals by assisting in the reduction of the costs of doing business, maintaining an effective, yet local workforce, and by furthering the ability of local governments to expand shared services initiatives with the business community. Our long-term goals are optimistic and we feel that our efforts will assist in tax savings for our residents as well as maintaining high quality services throughout the community.

By investing in your Parsippany Area Chamber of Commerce, you can help create a future that honors our past, respects our traditions, empowers our community, and makes the Parsippany Area the best place to live, to work, and to play in Morris County. Its members and volunteers feel that one of the most gratifying aspects of being part of the Chamber is making new friends and making a difference throughout the community. We encourage you to join our membership and visit our web sites at www.parsippanychamber.org and www.visitparsippany.org or call (973) 402-6400 for additional information. We are always available for you!
